Our annual symposium brings together researchers from different institutions to share work in progress, exchange experience in conducting research, practice presenting about research, and connecting with fellow researchers.

PhD research in typography, typeface design, and characters
硕、博研究：字符造形、字体与编排设计
A hybrid mini-conference and exhibition to showcase current and recent research at MARes and PhD level. Students from both institutions shared posters and make presentations, with both translated. Discussion sessions covered methodologies, especially working with primary sources, and supervision practice. The posters were translated across Chinese and English to showcase work in the World scripts: type and typography research theme.
